Kanye West is determined to make his presence known in politics, and in doing so, he’s scheduled to sit down with Donald Trump and his son-in-law, Jared Kushner.
According to the New York Times, the meeting is scheduled to occur on Thursday, with ‘Ye sitting down with Kushner first to discuss the criminal justice system and job opportunities for former convicts.
After his meeting with Kushner, sources with knowledge of the situation say West will then have lunch with Trump to come up with ways to increase the number of manufacturing jobs in Chicago.
West’s meeting comes just months after his wife, Kim Kardashian, met with the father and son-in-law duo to discuss clemency for non-violent lifer, Alice Marie Johnson.
However, it will not be the rapper’s first time sitting down with the controversial celebrity-in-chief. Back in 2016, West posed for a photo-op in the Trump Tower ahead of the inauguration.
