Kanye West’s company has allegedly submitted a trademark application that is likely to reignite controversy surrounding his anti-Semitic comments.
As per attorney Josh Gerben, a California-based company owned by Kanye West submitted a trademark application for “YEWS” on October 2. If granted, this trademark could potentially cover a wide range of products and services, including clothing, jewelry, restaurants, gaming, cosmetics, amusement parks, and more.
Kanye’s intentions regarding the trademark remain uncertain. However, this development will be closely monitored by consumers and the Jewish community, given the offense caused by his remarks last year.
On another note, Kanye is currently busy collaborating with Ty Dolla $ign on his upcoming album while residing in Italy. In addition, there’s also been reports of a joint project in the works between Kanye and Ty.
According to The Sun, just last week, Kanye hosted a listening party in an Italian recording studio, with Ty in attendance. The out reported that during the event, Kanye seemed agitated. They also added that he showed signs of being out of sorts while giving a preview of his new album.
