After two years of being away due to the pandemic, Coachella is reportedly set to return with Kanye West headlining along with Billie Eilish and possibly Swedish House Mafia.
According to Variety, Kanye will most likely be taking the third headliner spot on Sunday night at the festival. Sources say that Ye may also be planning on giving fans another Sunday Service performance.
The news about the headliner slots came after festival organizer Goldenvoice indecisively switched artists in & out of the positions.
Now, there had been rumors of Travis Scott returning to the stage following his Astroworld Fest tragedy. But that was short-lived after the festival decided to pull the plug on his performance. Travis was set to headline Coachella in 2019 but unfortunately due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the festival was canceled.
Things are also up in the air with Swedish House Mafia headlining since Goldenvoice is still exploring their options. Kanye and Eilish’s agreements have yet to be finalized as well.
The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival will be a two-weekend long event. The festival will start April 15-17 & finish the following weekend, April 22-24. The festival will be held at the Empire Polo Grounds in Indio, California.
