Kanye West had to be rushed to the hospital yesterday during the Australian leg of his tour and many sources were saying it was for a seizure. According to members of Kanye’s team, it was a migraine that lead the rapper to the hospital, and only as a precautionary measure.
Around 2pm Kanye was rushed into the backdoor of Epworth Hospital in Richmond (Australia) to undergo an MRI. The rapper was put on to a stretcher before carried into the MRI room. Witnesses say everyone was massively panicked and was moved out of the waiting and consulting rooms. Around 4:30 pm, E! reports both Kim and Kanye left the hospital and went back to their hotels. “[Kanye is] fine and didn’t have a major health scare or seizure,” a source is quoted as saying. “He just suffered a migraine and went to the hospital simply as a precaution.”
Kanye still managed to perform at the Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne the same night. Glad he’s okay.
