Candace Owens is speaking out in support of Kanye West after he publicly called out his ex Kim Kardashian for letting their 8-year-old daughter use social media.
“Kim is wrong on this one,” Candace tweeted alongside Kardashian and West’s posts discussing North’s use of TikTok. “There are other creative outlets for kids.”
Kim is wrong on this one. The psychological effects of social media on young girls is real and documented. It’s actually Kanye that is trying to protect his daughter in this regard and Kim is spinning this as “obsession” and “control”.

In her tweet, the 32-year-old political commentator pointed out that social media use among young girls has a psychological effect that is “real and documented.” She doesn’t believe Kanye is obsessive or controlling, that a child should use other creative outlets.
“There is no 8 year old in the world that needs social media,” Owens said in a follow-up tweet. “Go color.”

West thanked Owens for taking his side in the matter in an Instagram post. He stated, “a lot of celebrities are scared to say something in public” in his caption, which accompanied both of Owens’ tweets.

Kardashian and West went back and forth on social media Friday over North having access to TikTok. West told his IG followers that North was using TikTok against his will. Kardashian penned a lengthy response, which she posted to her Story.
“Kanye’s constant need for attacking me in interviews and on social media is actually more hurtful than any TikTok North might create,” Kardashian wrote, in part. “As the parent who is the main provider and caregiver for our children, I am doing my best to protect our daughter while also allowing her to express her creativity in the medium that she wishes with adult supervision — because it brings her happiness.”
Kardashian ended her statement by expressing her desire to handle any issues related to the children privately.
