Kanye West has been confirmed as one of the headliners for this year’s Coachella Valley Music And Arts Festival.
According to Billboard, Ye joins Harry Styles, Billie Eilish, and Swedish House Mafia as performers for the three-day music festival that is set to kick off the weekends of April 15-17 and April 22-24 at the Empire Polo Grounds.
This news comes after Travis Scott, who was initially slated to headline the canceled festival in both 2020 and 2021, was dropped in the wake of the Astroworld tragedy.
This announcement marks Ye’s return to the festival stage. West first headlined the festival in 2011 and held a special Easter Sunday edition of Sunday Service at Coachella in 2019.
After suffering covid related delays, festival organizers previously announced safety protocols for the show, saying attendees can either show proof of their vaccination or negative COVID-19 test results to gain entry.
