Kanye West intends to go without a home next year in order to provide a safe haven for others.
During his recent interview with 032c magazine, the “Jail” rapper unveiled his plans to convert all of his homes into churches that will have free food and resources for all who need it. According to the rapper and sneaker mogul, he wants to reform the way people live under “capitalist rule.”
Yeezy recently met with Reverend Troy Vaughn, CEO of homeless charity LA Mission, to outline how they can end homelessness in Los Angeles. Last week, he sponsored 1,000 meals for the organization. In addition to providing complimentary dinners, Ye is hoping to use his companies to provide employment, education, and housing to the homeless population. His Sunday Service series will also lend their voices to uplifting the communities and bringing awareness to the crisis during their performances.
While Ye’s plans to turn his many properties into places of worship and shelter may come as a surprise to some, the 44-year-old proclaimed last year on Twitter that he was ready to end homelessness in America.
