Despite being absent from Sunday night’s 2022 Grammy Awards ceremony in Las Vegas, Kanye West still walked away with two awards.
West won the best melodic rap performance category alongside The Weeknd and Lil Baby for “Hurricane.”
Later, his song “Jail“ took best rap song, which was shared with Dwayne Abernathy Jr., Raul Cubina, Michael Dean, Charles M. Njapa, Sean Solymar, Mark Williams and Jay-Z.
Marilyn Manson, the disgraced rocker accused of sexual assault, was also featured on the song and was initially nominated with Ye before the Recording Academy ruled he was not one of the writers.
