Kanye West Says He’d Like The Next Person He Dates To Be An ‘Artist’

Kanye West says he wants the next person he dates to be an “artist.”

Many felt West, 43, and Kim Kardashian, 40, were a match made in heaven because of their high profile status and seemingly similar interests. However, the two are in the process of parting ways following their divorce announcement, and it looks like Ye is already setting up the standards for his next boo thang.

According to a source, West wants his next relationship to be “with an artist and a creative person” because they would be able to “speak the same language to each other,” The New York Post reports.

The rapper added that he is an acquired taste when it comes to potential partners. During an interview with GQ, West said that he is comparable to historical artists. “I am Michelangelo. I am Picasso,” said West. “I am unquestionably, undoubtedly, the greatest human artist of all time. It’s not even a question at this point. It’s just a fact.”

The New York Post reports that Kardashian is actually “remaking her image as a devoted mother,” noting that the social media star will “eventually enter politics.” A source said that if Kardashian were to date someone, it would be career-motivated.

“She’s not dating anyone because, if she were, it would be a career move. She can’t go to restaurants now on dates and have paparazzi [due to the pandemic]. She can’t date quietly; she doesn’t even understand what that would be like.” However, another source said that she doesn’t have to create publicity because she’s already Kim K. “We’re talking about someone who is already one of the most famous people in the world…she doesn’t need anyone to make her more famous.”
