TMZ viewed public building records from Kanye West’s home near Kim Kardashian’s home and found that the rapper hasn’t taken out any construction permits. Though Kanye admitted he got the home to reconcile with Kim, he might not be moving in after all.
Initially, Ye said he purchased the home so close so that he could be close to his children and co-parent as the former couple went through their divorce. But, neighbors have said they haven’t seen any activity on Ye’s lot. However, he is in the middle of a massive renovation at his Malibu estate that he spent $60 million on.
The freeze on progress could come from Kim Kardashian’s current relationship with boyfriend Pete Davidson, as they just went Instagram official.
Kim bought her current home from Kanye for $23 million, and he purchased the home nearby to be near the kids in the Hidden Hills neighborhood.
The two haven’t really communicated lately, but the blow-up in their relationship is documented on Hulu’s The Kardashians.
