It was previously reported that Kanye West is looking to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin, and it seems like it’s already in motion for it to happen sometime this year.
TMZ ran into his manager Bu Thiam, who is all for Yeezy linking with the controversial leader. “That’s King Ye, why not?” he responded when asked about it.
“Yeah, but you know I love that dude. I think he’s a leader,” he added. “And he has to make tough decisions. Unfortunately, in America, we hate everyone that’s not American.”
He even claimed that Putin is loved by the Russian people.
In addition to sitting down with Putin, Ye allegedly plans to take his Sunday Service shows to Russia as well. He’s aiming for sometime this spring or summer.
And while his business associate Ameer Sudan told Billboard that all of this was already set in motion, Kanye’s PR said not so much. The rep said the story is “entirely fabricated.”
When speaking to TMZ, Bu did not provide any other details about Kanye’s Russia plans, neither confirming nor denying the story.
