Kanye West’s “White Lives Matter” Shirts Given to Homeless People on Skid Row [Video]

Ye‘s “White Lives Matter” shirts weren’t selling, so the rapper decided to give them to the homeless on Skid Row.

After debuting the “White Lives Matter” shirts at Paris Fashion Week and receiving much criticism from celebrities like Gigi Hadid, Boosie Bad Azz, Diddy, and more, Ye feels generous. Unfortunately, even the homeless people on Skid Row do not want the rapper’s “WLM” tee shirts.

In a video obtained by one of Kanye’s associates, they are handing out the infamous shirts while someone says, “courtesy of Kanye West.”

A resident said, “They dropped off a big box here and told everybody to come here to pick them up. I was like this is not a good spot. I don’t think you should bring them here.”

The shirts feature Pope John Paul on the front, with the WLM saying on the back. Ye went on Fox News addressing the tee shirts calling it “funny” and “obvious.”

It also seems very calculating to give out the shirts in a predominantly Black area. The resident continues, “I would say (expletive) Kanye West for doing this,” she said. “He should have never done this… The majority of people that have been getting killed are Black people. So, that’s what we’re talking about. So, don’t change the subject. It’s still Black Lives Matter here.”

Since the shirts have been delivered, Skid Row residents claim that people have gone to the area to purchase the tees.
