Kanye “Ye” West is currently in the spotlight, not for his music but due to a serious allegation and subsequent police investigation. The Los Angeles Police Department is looking into an incident involving the 46-year-old rapper at the iconic Chateau Marmont Hotel on Sunset Boulevard. Reports emerged on Tuesday, April 16, that West allegedly punched a man whom he accused of sexually assaulting his wife, Bianca Censori.
The news first broke on TMZ on Wednesday, April 17, describing a tense scene where Censori, 29, and West quickly left the scene after the alleged confrontation. According to sources, the man involved in the altercation did not seek medical attention. However, the situation escalates with claims from West’s camp about the nature of the encounter.
A representative for West provided a detailed account of the events to TMZ, stating that the altercation was far more severe than initially reported. According to the rep, the unidentified man did not simply make inappropriate contact with Censori; he allegedly assaulted her. “He put his hands under her dress, directly on her body, grabbed her waist, spun her around, and then blew her kisses,” the spokesperson described. The representative emphasized, “She was battered and sexually assaulted. ‘Grabbed’ is grossly inadequate to describe what happened. Bianca was physically assaulted.”
