NBA legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s 28-year-old son was arrested Wednesday for the alleged stabbing of his neighbor.
According to TMZ Sports, Adam Abdul-Jabbar has been charged with assault with a deadly weapon for allegedly stabbing his neighbor multiple times.
Local authorities told the outlet that they received a call around 10 pm local time on Tuesday regarding the incident.
“The suspect, who is the neighbor of the victim, was arrested without incident,” a spokesperson for the police department told the tabloid.
The victim was transferred to a local hospital and reportedly had “multiple non-life-threatening injuries.”
Adam has since been released from jail, however, an investigation is ongoing.
