Looks like Love & Hip Hop star Karlie Redd will be giving us that album after all. The reality star has just signed a global multi-million dollar album deal with Legacy Records.
Last Thursday, Karlie celebrated the success with a dinner party at Atlanta’s Spice House Restaurant. Karlie is the first female signed to the label and will focus on her Caribbean roots in upcoming album.
Karlie has already started working on the album and has been collaborating with the Queen of Dancehall, Spice. In addition, Redd is now also working with big names such as Dancehall artist/producer Demarco, producers Luke Nasty, Jonny Blaze & Stadic.
The “cryptocurrency label” CEO Keishia McLeod says she’s excited for Karlie to join the team.
“What intrigued me most about Karlie is her hustle and versatility. It’s admiring because she truly understands the importance of a diversified skillset; she invests into a well-balanced portfolio, while remaining both humble and hungry. She has already accomplished that of 10 women combined and that tells me Karlie is just getting started! I think she’s just about to step into the most successful decade of her life, and I’m proud to support a strong woman who aims to help others do the same.”
Karlie released a statement saying she believes Legacy is the best to handle her album since they do have a female CEO.
“Keishia truly understands the vision of a female artist in a male-driven industry,” Karlie says.
Congrats to Karlie! Pop them tags then!!
