Kash Doll recently got candid about her breakup with Tracy T and the fulfilling journey of motherhood.
Appearing last week on the Pour Minds podcast, Kash Doll opened up about her career, navigating single parenthood, and the importance of healing after heartbreak. In her chat with hosts Drea Nicole and Lex P, the rapper reflected on her healing journey, especially challenging while in the public eye. Kash admitted she’d envisioned a family with Tracy and their two kids, Kashton and Klarity, but stayed resilient through the split.
“I kept going,” Kash said. “It’s not that I don’t care—I’m hurt. I have two kids with him. Of course, I thought that was going to be forever.”
She went on to share that if she’d known things wouldn’t work out with Tracy, she might have made different choices. “Of course, I didn’t want it to end this way. I wouldn’t have had the kids,” she joked, giving a glimpse into her mixed emotions.

But even with the tough moments, Kash expressed pure joy about being a mom and shared heartfelt advice for women worried about raising children alone.
“You can’t have fear about having kids,” she said. “Fear and kids aren’t in the same sentence. That’s a blessing. A kid is a blessing, whether or not a man’s in the picture. Don’t mix the two. Because whether he’s there or not, you’re always that child’s mom, no matter what.”
Reflecting on her hopes for a family unit, she added, “Of course, I thought about ‘Will we be together? Am I just going to be a baby mama?’ You want marriage, you want your family to share the same name. But in the end, being a mom is what’s constant. Whether you’re a wife, a single mom, or a ‘baby mama’—you’re always going to be a mom.”
