Katt Williams has once again found himself in trouble with the law. The comedian was arrested Tuesday on charges of battery, making terroristic threats and more, following an incident with his bodyguard.
The dispute occurred on February 28, just one day before Williams was arrested at Gainesville pool supply shop. According to the report, Williams and two female acquaintances are being accused of restraining and assaulting the bodyguard, Cory Dixon, after he “did not engage in criminal acts as directed by Williams.” One woman choked Dixon and assaulted him with a baseball bat while Williams threatened to kill him.
The Sheriff’s Office conducted a search of Williams’ home on Tuesday where they found large quantities of marijuana and several firearms. Williams was arrested and charged with aggravated assault, terroristic threats, false imprisonment and felony possession of marijuana. Additional drug and weapons charges are pending.
Bat woman, Tatiana Smith, was charged with aggravated assault, misdemeanor marijuana possession and possession of the drug Alprazolam. The second woman was charged with felony possession of marijuana.
The trio were taken to Hall County Jail where they will see a judge on Wednesday afternoon.
