Katt Williams is making some serious moves, like buying a military base.
In a recent interview on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Katt confirmed that he scooped up Fort McClellan, a former military base in Alabama, last November.
When Fallon asked about it, Katt gave a classic response: “As starving comedians would do.”
Katt credits Tyler Perry as his inspiration. “If I see somebody do a good job, I just want to do a good job,” he said. Perry’s success with transforming a military base into a movie studio was clearly a big influence.
So, no, Katt’s not making Madea-style movies, he made it clear he’s not “wearing dresses,” but he’s definitely following in those successful footsteps.
Who knows? Maybe Katt’s next big project is just around the corner.
