Kayla Nicole Offers Words Of Love To Black Women After Her Name Gets Thrown into the Headlines for Weeks [Video]

Travis Kelce’s ex-girlfriend, Kayla Nicole, is sending words of encouragement following all the intense media coverage she has been getting in recent weeks. 

The influencer, who has done an excellent job of staying out of drama, has been the subject of intense backlash and rumors as Kelce dates singer Taylor Swift. She was with Kelce from 2017 to 2022, and while she has kept quiet for the most part about their breakup, many are awaiting her response to his new relationship. Kelce’s other ex-girlfriend, Maya Benberry, has claimed she is receiving death threats from Swift fans. Nevertheless, Nicole is taking the high road. 

“They may call you a traitor for falling in love. You’ll hope the ones closest will protect you but quickly realize people don’t protect what they don’t value. They’ll say you’re too much, too provocative, too boisterous, too outspoken, and in the same breath, tell you that you’re not enough, not successful enough, not wholesome enough, maybe not even intelligent enough. They’ll say you deserve the backlash and embarrassment because of your blackness. You should have known better. They’ll even try to tie your value to your net worth,” Nicole shared in an Instagram video.

Nicole has been the topic of conversation as people compare Swift to Kelce’s previous exes, who happen to be Black. Nicole received a mountain of praise on Instagram after sharing her open letter with fellow beauties, such as Angel Reese sending her words of encouragement, commenting, “From one black girl to another, THANK YOU for speaking up for us! This was beautiful! Always walk with grace & God because that’s all that matters!” Essence’s official IG also told Nicole, “We love you, Black Girl.”

It’s unknown who Nicole is currently dating, as she has kept a quietly quiet profile since her breakup.
