Keefe D, awaiting trial for Tupac Shakur’s murder, has received several TV offers to tell his side of the story.
His lawyer, Carl Arnold, has confirmed the news, stating that he has also been approached by companies interested in showcasing his defense efforts, though no deals have been signed yet.
“When I’m dead and gone, we have to preserve this thing. It’s a legacy. It’s a legacy case,” Arnold said. “And so it is like Johnnie Cochran [O.J. Simpson’s lawyer], we could still go watch that old film of him and that if it doesn’t fit, you must acquit.”
Arnold thinks a TV or film deal could help Davis pay his court fees. But the idea of Davis cashing in on Tupac’s death is sparking debate as his bail is reviewed.
