Kehlani Placed On Mental Eval After Admitting She Wanted To Harm Herself

This morning singer Kehlani posted to Instagram that after social media caught wind of her dilemma involving Cavs Kyrie Irving and singer PartyNextDoor, she didn’t want to live any longer. From Kehlani’s post it appeared that she was in a hospital, hooked up to an IV. She later posted a photo of PND at her bedside, thanking him for saving her life.

Authorities say they responded to a medical emergency at Kehlani’s home at 1:45 PM local time on Monday. They were told Kehlani “wanted to harm herself.” They determined that she was a danger to herself, so they took her to the hospital where she was placed on a psychiatric hold.

A photo posted by PND, of Kehlani laying in his bed Monday afternoon, is what sparked rumors on infidelity, and the inevitable social media backlash. Kehlani quickly deleted her Instagram page, but returned Tuesday morning with news of her mental state. Kehlani denies that she cheated on Kyrie Irving to get back with her ex, PartyNextDoor. It’s unclear how long doctors plan on holding Kehlani, though her team says she is doing much better.
