Oftentimes people do not get the necessary credit they deserve, but Kehlani recently made sure Nick Cannon received his share.
R&B songstress Kehlani recently sat down with the hosts of the popular radio show, The Breakfast Club. While there, the singer discussed multiple topics, including one in particular about actor Nick Cannon.
Kehlani, now 26-years-old, tells the story of how Nick Cannon changed her life after meeting her as a teen. Nick at the time hosted America’s Got Talent, where Kehlani and her group were contestants on the hit show.
In the clip, Kehlani says after meeting Nick on the show, Cannon reached out to her with hopes of helping her to stardom.
“He changed my life forever. That’s family to me.”
Kehlani also details how she was surprised when she met other well-known individuals in the industry, who said Nick had done the same for them.
“So when there’s all these conversations, and I’ve been waiting to say this somewhere, but while there’s all these conversations that’s picking him apart and like, people can call him corny and people can call him whatever … he silently has changed the lives of so many people. He asked for nothing in return … you would have no idea.”
