The Black Music Action Coalition is set to pay tribute to Keke Palmer, Jermaine Dupri, and the late Clarence Avant.
The annual event is a festive occasion dedicated to recognizing individuals in Black music who have actively contributed to advancing equity within the community. The coalition’s mission is to combat systemic racism within the industry by advocating for Black artists, producers, lawyers, and other professionals.

Dupri will be presented with the Clarence Avant Trailblazer Award. This award has previously been given to notable individuals such as Motown Records CEO Ethiopia Habtemariam and Sony Music CEO Jon “Big Jon” Platt.
“As we come together at this year’s BMAC Gala. We celebrate the passion, artistry and activism that burns bright in the hearts of our honorees,” BMAC co-founder Willie Stiggers said. “They all have fearlessly embraced the power of music and entertainment to drive change and transcend boundaries.”
