During a recent chat with Angela Yee’s “Way Up,” Palmer hinted that the decision to cancel the episode was out of her hands, alluding to behind-the-scenes pressure from her team.
“It’s not just me. I have partners. And so, it was then suggested or decided…without throwing anybody under the bus…that we shouldn’t put it out,” Palmer explained,
The now-scrapped interview was reportedly filmed after Majors was found guilty of assault and harassment in his high-profile domestic violence case involving ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari.
Palmer’s comments have reignited a wave of online discussion, with fans split between defending her neutrality and criticizing the perceived censorship.
Majors, once considered a rising Hollywood star, was dropped from several major projects following his December 2023 conviction. He was sentenced to a year of domestic violence counseling and probation, avoiding jail time.
While Palmer didn’t offer a definitive explanation, her subtle commentary suggests that the fallout from Majors’ legal troubles may have led her podcast partners to nix the episode, regardless of her own stance on the matter.
