Keke Palmer Says She Doesn’t Believe in Titles, “I’m Single Till I’m Married”

Keke Palmer may be a little old school, as she doesn’t believe that being somebody’s girlfriend is a sure thing.

The 27-year-old recently joined the Tik Tok trend of reacting to people’s comments by pointing out their absurdity. She wanted to examine the girlfriend and boyfriend labels and why they don’t appeal to her.

“Dudes be like, ‘I want you to be my girlfriend.’ But are you going to marry me?! Are we ready to take it somewhere out of kid world? Because I’m not trying to be locked into nothin’ unless you’re going to lock me in for life,” she said. “Because we can just be friends and kick it ’til you’re ready to go.”

The caption to the video posted to her Instagram read: “I don’t believe in girlfriend and boyfriend. I’m single till I’m married. Let’s just kick it love.”

Many of her fans agreed, commenting on her post saying, “We just homies until then” and “Yessssssss baby I’m too old to be classified a girl anything. I’m either your wife or just a friend.”

Miss Keke is too booked and busy to be focused on a relationship that isn’t secure.

She was recently linked to Dutch rapper Styn, also known as Stijn Derksen. However, when asked about their relationship last year, she was adamant about not labeling anything or discussing their situation too much.

Even though our sis doesn’t want to share details about her personal life with the media, does she have a point? Are you excepting the girlfriend/boyfriend title, or are you single until your married?
