Kelly Price is opening up about her alleged disappearance from her family and about her hospitalization with COVID, revealing that she was medically dead at one point.
Even though some of her family members claimed she had vanished without a trace, Price claims she was never missing.
According to Kelly, she often doesn’t communicate with her family, so she isolated herself while recovering from COVID.
Price allegedly suffered from a severe case of COVID and claims at one point, she was unconscious, and doctors and staff had to revive her. She said she was basically on her death bed when she recovered unexpectedly.
Although Price’s near-death encounter with COVID-19 ended with her life being saved, she informed TMZ that she was still in danger.
“I have what is called long COVID, and I am facing a very uphill battle right now,” Kelly said before trailing off in tears. “I suffered a lot of internal damage, and so I have a lot of rehabbing to do before I am able to be concert-ready again.”
Kelly also disputed claims of which she had last seen her sister, “It hasn’t been two months since I’ve seen my sister. It’s been a year,” she explained. “I haven’t been in the same room as her since my mother’s funeral. Prior to that, we hadn’t seen each other all pandemic long. That’s not new for us. We’ve been strained for a very long time.”
This confirms what Kelly hinted at on her Instagram Story over the weekend, specifically that she was fine and that the narrative had gotten out of hand.
Price made it very clear, “I was never missing … everyone in my family knew exactly where I was. It’s very disappointing that things came to this.”
