By now, we’ve all seen the viral clip of Jay-Z’s reaction when running into Kelly Rowland at the “The Harder They Fall” movie premiere. Now, the Destiny’s Child star has responded to the heartwarming moment.
During an Instagram Live session, the “Motivation” singer spoke with viewers as she did her makeup and expressed surprise over how popular the clip has become on the internet.
“Like, I see my big bro all the time, but I guess you guys never see what we see? I don’t know,” Rowland shared.
The video, which has been shared across social media millions of times, shows the billionaire rap mogul spotting Rowland as he walked into the film premiere. A massive look of shock and immeasurable delight then takes over in a moment that has become one of the most iconic memes in social media history.
Beyoncé, Regina King, Teyana Taylor, Kehlani, and several other stars were also in attendance for the first look at the Netlflix Black western film last week, which Jay-Z produced and contributed music.
