Kendrick Lamar is having one heck of a year.
After dominating the Super Bowl LVII halftime show, he’s still topping charts with his hit “Not Like Us.”
But the big news? He might just be performing at the 2028 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles.
It’s no surprise. With his roots in Compton and his massive influence on West Coast hip-hop, Kendrick is practically the face of L.A.
The city’s Olympic organizing committee is already eyeing him, along with big names like Billie Eilish, Snoop Dogg, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
“He’s an L.A. icon, so it’s a pretty safe bet he’ll be part of the Olympics in some way,” said Casey Wasserman, chair of the L.A. Olympic committee.
It’s looking like Kendrick’s about to make history, again.
