Parker expressed his excitement about the project during an October 2024 Bloomberg interview, saying, “We’re doing a movie with Kendrick, with Kendrick Lamar and Dave Free and their company. And we’re working on it and hopefully come out July 4th weekend opposite “Jurassic Park,” which is pretty funny.”
He also mentioned Kendrick Lamar’s hands-on approach, stating, “[Kendrick Lamar is] very involved. And Dave Free is very involved. Every day they are working on it.”
