RHOA star Kenya Moore says she wasn’t “allowed” to speak to Marc Daly’s parents when they were married.⠀⠀⠀
Moore and Daly have officially called it quits on their marriage, but as time goes on, more information about the former couple’s relationship dynamic comes out. A new episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta comes out this Sunday, and in a sneak peek of the new episode, Moore reveals the problems she dealt with during her marriage to Daly.
“One of my issues with him is not being able to just have a conversation without yelling or anger or crossing lines. I know it’s not me, and I know how hard I’ve fought for this marriage,” said Moore.” I stopped caring about my feelings, and all I was doing was just trying to be everything he wanted me to be and work through everything as best I could to keep my family together.”
She added that she feels Daly wasn’t as open as he could have been with her. “I just feel like it’s always been this block up with him of not letting me completely into his life,” Moore said.” It’s just a lot of things I felt like I was in the dark about.” One part of Daly’s life she felt banned from was his parents, which she said she was “never privy to.” “I’m not allowed to speak to his mother or father. If you don’t know everything about that person’s life, you’re not being let in.”
In the end, Moore said the only thing she’s concerned about is her relationship with her daughter, Brooklyn. Moore added that she isn’t sure how to go about co-parenting. “I just don’t know how to even make the visitation work,” the star said. The couple announced their separation in September 2019. The new episode hits screens Sunday, April 5, at 8/7c.
