Kenya Moore is taking full responsibility for displaying explicit images of “Real Housewives of Atlanta” newcomer Brittany Eady at her salon’s grand opening.
The reality star sat down with Tamron Hall, where she owned up to the shocking act, which ultimately got her suspended indefinitely from the Bravo series. According to Moore, printing and posting the images in the Kenya Moore Hair Spa took things a bit overboard.
“If I could do it all over again, I believe the photos were very distasteful, and I elevated the situation. I’ve elevated situations before, and I’ve taken full accountability for the things that I’ve done. I am sorry for what I’ve done,” she told Hall. “I didn’t have to take it that far.”
The situation made headlines earlier this year when several sources who were present at the grand opening confirmed that Moore displayed images of Eady performing a sex act for all guests to see. Making matters worse, the Bravo cameras were rolling during the incident. Moore allegedly obtained the images online, though they have not surfaced on any social media platform.
“I am still processing the nasty low, disgusting, vile things that was done to try and hurt me. Bullying and revenge porn is never okay,” Eady shared in a statement back in July.
At the time, Moore defended her actions, claiming Eady threatened her with a weapon, though this claim could not be verified. It’s unclear if Moore will have a chance to return to Bravo. For now, Phaedra Parks has reclaimed her position on the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” in Moore’s absence.
