Kenya Moore and Kandi Burruss were giving NeNe Leakes all the love during an Amazon Live stream—but things took a little shady turn when Kandi mentioned how great NeNe’s been looking online.
Kandi kicked it off with a compliment: “Let’s just go ahead and give her flowers, honey. She’s been looking great online lately.”
Kenya couldn’t hold back, laughing and adding, “Yes. I think NeNe looks great. I just need her to back off the filters and stuff.”
Kandi fired back, “All y’all been doing the filters, honey.”
But Kenya wasn’t having it. “Nah, not like that. This is natural, honey. I wake up looking like this.”
Kenya then tried to soften the shade, saying, “We’ve all done too much editing to our photos and we all use filters from time to time, but she definitely has amazing skin.” She even gave NeNe props for her wigs and wardrobe. “She doesn’t need the filters or the heavy editing. I’ve seen her in person. She doesn’t need it.”
So while the shade was real, Kenya kept it cute—still giving NeNe her flowers.
She said, “I love me some NeNe and she definitely deserves a second chance.”
