The ”Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Kenya Moore, gave birth to her daughter Brooklyn Doris Daly at 9:39 on November 4th, weighing 5 lbs. and 12 oz, according to #People. The couple says they gave their daughter a name that holds special meaning.
Kenya said, “Brooklyn because that’s where we met and fell in love, and Doris after my grandmother who passed away last year and who raised me.”
All is well for mommy and baby girl although the last few days leading up to delivery were tough on Kenya. The former Miss USA, who conceived through in vitro fertilization, gave birth via emergency cesarean section after revealing that she had tested positive for preeclampsia, a pregnancy complication that caused her to gain 15+ lbs in one week due to severe swelling and water retention, high blood pressure and excess protein in urine.”
She took to #Instagram to let her fans know everything is alright and she’s ready for #BabyDaly. She wrote, “If you want to make God laugh have a plan…” she captioned a shot of her laying her hospital bed. “Won’t be long now. Pray for us ?? #babydaly #weloveyou #prayers.”
Congratulations to Kenya and Marc on baby Brooklyn!
