Kenya Moore’s ex-husband, Marc Daly, is seemingly experiencing some money issues, according to newly surfaced court documents.
Daly was sued by his Brooklyn apartment landlord on October 25th, 2024, for unpaid rent. Despite signing a lease extension in February 2024, which was set to expire in June 2025, he allegedly failed to pay rent for August and September 2024, totaling $9,341. A judgment of possession was entered on February 19th, 2025.
Adding to his legal woes, Daly faces another lawsuit over unpaid rent for two Brooklyn retail spaces. A landlord named 507 Myrtle LLC sued Daly and his LLCs in July 2024, claiming they defaulted on leases signed in 2017 and 2019. The suit stated, “Defendants have remained in mounting default of the leases … since 2022 before terminating operations and abandoning the premises by the beginning of 2024.”
Daly owned SoCo, a Brooklyn restaurant that closed in December 2024. Announcing its closure, he wrote, “It is with a full heart that I announce the closure of Soco. After 15 years of serving our wonderful community, it’s time for me to explore a new adventure in media.”
The landlord claimed Daly owed $448,313.55 and had abandoned the premises. However, Daly and the LLCs denied wrongdoing, arguing the lawsuit was barred by statutes of limitations. A hearing is set for June.
Moore and Daly, who married in 2017 and split in 2019, finalized their divorce, with the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” alum securing primary custody of their daughter and Daly agreeing to pay $2,000 monthly in child support.
