In a recent appearance on Middays With Persia for Baltimore’s 92 Q, Keri Hilson addressed the longstanding beef between her and Beyonce. Hilson reveals that the two shared a healing moment and even was amenable to working with each other.
When asked if she would be open to collaborating with Queen Bey, the “Pretty Girl Rock” singer responds, “sure. Absolutely.”
“She actually has introduced herself. It was a gracious moment. I appreciated it,” Hilson said. “I feel like she understood what happened, what had transpired, and there was a bit of healing in that moment when we met.”
Hilson takes it a step further, acknowledging that the experience would probably be very fun. Hilson goes on to say that despite what people think, she’s always thought Beyonce was amazing.
The R&Beef dates back to 2009, when an unreleased remix to Hilson’s hit single “Turnin Me On” leaked. In the record, Hilson was accused of subbing Beyonce, which she recently confirmed on Out Loud with Claudia Jordan. She also revealed that she didn’t write the lyrics and was pressured into starting the beef.
