Ketchup, Mayo & Baked Beans Flavored Ice Cream Has Arrived In London

Ketchup and mayo fans in London are in luck as a new line of ice cream flavors honoring the condiments has become available for a limited time.

The Ice Cream Project, created by English handbag designer Anya Hindmarch, is a project that thrives off of non-traditional ice cream flavors. The concept store opened as a pop-up experience in The Villages on July 9th. The exhibit will run through August 28th and has already become a huge hit.

Customers have the rare chance to taste the Heinz ketchup and mayo-flavored frozen treat, as well as Kikkoman soy sauce, Kellog’s Coco Pops, Quaker Rolled Oats, and more. Buyers can expect the same taste as their usual cupboard staples with a creamy, cold twist.

“I’m so impressed, it’s such fun, and it’s great for the kids,” said customer Adrienne Konviser.

Hindmarch is also pleased with how people are lining up to taste the frozen dessert. However, she urges visitors to line up at The Ice Cream Project early to secure their treat.

“In the afternoons, this sometimes means long queues (particularly at weekends), and we may not be able to serve everyone before closing time,” read a statement on Hindmarch’s official website. The statement goes on to add, “If you’re visiting us at The Ice Cream Project, we advise arriving well before closing time.”

If you’re visiting London anytime soon, The Ice Cream Project is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. On Sundays, doors will be open from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
