Kevin Durant is all smiles after being traded from the Brooklyn Nets to the Phoenix Suns ahead of Thursday’s trade deadline. The NBA star was spotted looking relaxed at Michael Rubin’s annual Fanatics Super Bowl party at the Arizona Biltmore on Saturday.
The exclusive invite-only bash was also attended by Durant’s teammates Devin Booker, Chris Paul, and Deandre Ayton. Suns owner Mat Ishbia was also in attendance. Durant was spotted toasting Drake, Travis Scott, and Rubin.
The star-studded event was attended by stars like Gayle King, Paul Rudd, Shaq, Jay-Z, Quavo, and more. Scott, The Chainsmokers, Meek Mill, Lil Baby, Bobby Shmurda, Fabolous, and A$SAP Ferg all took the stage to perform for the crowd.
Page Six reports that more than 2,000 uninvited guests were turned away from the exclusive soiree. Two people were injured trying to climb over a metal fence on the property and were escorted out by security.
Rubin, who is from Philadelphia, told Page Six that this year’s party is “so much more fun” since he is celebrating his hometown team. He told the outlet that his box for Sunday’s game will be just as star-studded as his pre-party.
