Kevin Garnett might be coming out a serious bag if all goes in his estranged wife’s favor. According to new legal docs obtained by TMZ, Brandi Garnett is seeking $146,000 per month in spousal support in addition to $46k per month in child support for their two daughters, ages 10 and 6. Brandi is also requesting $300k in attorney fees to cover the immediate cost of the divorce proceedings so far and an estimated future cost to finish out the agreement.
Brandi says her figures are fair because she claims KG makes at least $5 million a year and earned more than $300 million in his NBA career. Her defense for child support is that she says she has their daughters 95 percent of the time.
Then to top it off, Brandi is requesting another $25k to retain counsel in a separate financial matter involving Kevin allegedly getting finessed out of $77 million. Previous reports state that KG accused his former accountant of working with a fraudulent wealth manager to steal money from him over several years.
Kevin Garnett filed his response to her original divorce filing last month, asking for joint legal and physical custody of the kids and asking the court to terminate spousal support for Brandi, citing a prenup the couple signed a month before their marriage.
Brandi filed for divorce from Kevin in July 2018 after 14 years of marriage, citing irreconcilable differences.
