Kevin Hart will soon add restaurateur to his resume with the opening of his new plant-based fast-food eatery.
The “Fatherhood” star has been nurturing this idea since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic and will finally bring his vision to life with the opening of Hart House. The entire menu will consist of only plant-based burgers, nuggets, fries, chicken sandwiches, milkshakes, salads, and more. All food offerings will be free of hormones, artificial colors, preservatives, and high fructose corn syrup made within minutes, shooting down the notion that plant-based meals are more strenuous and costly to produce.
Hart House CEO Andy Hooper says that perfecting the menu has been two years in the making. He hopes to present delicious options that “just happens to be all plant-based,” appealing to people of all diets.Â
Kevin Hart himself also took to Instagram to gloat over his latest business venture, hoping to get his fans excited about healthier eating.
“We’re going to serve delicious, sustainable food that delivers “Can’t-Believe-It” Flavor in every bite!!!,” he wrote.Â
Many fast-food restaurants have added plant-based options to their menus in recent years. Burger King’s Impossible Burger has become a popular choice for vegan foodies. McDonald’s has also experimented with their McPlant Burger.Â
Hart House will open its first locations in the Los Angeles area later this summer.Â
