Keyshawn Johnson, the former number-one overall pick, was recently released by ESPN. He has now landed a recurring role on Skip Bayless’ show ‘Undisputed’ at Fox Sports 1.
On Monday’s episode, Keyshawn and Skip recapped Colorado’s loss to Oregon, and Skip mentioned that coaches were jealous of Deion Sanders. Keyshawn added to the conversation by sharing he had received some inside scoop from an unnamed coach.
“Skip, you were talking about the jealousy of these coaches and how Deion got there,” Johnson said.
He continued, “It’s interesting that you said that…So, I spoke to somebody in the coaching fraternity right after the game. And they know some people that coach at Oregon. And they were telling me, they said, ‘Man, I’ve never heard from another assistant coach of how much information was being given to that staff,’ about, I’m being real with you, about game-planning against Colorado. So they could beat them.”
A telling revaluation from a former NFL player who may be looking for clicks or could genuinely possess a credible source of information—it’s a judgment call for us to make.
