Keyshia Cole won’t be facing prosecution for beating down side chicks in Birdman’s home but she’ll still be seeing the inside of a jail cell for other reasons. According to a series of tweets, something she did long ago finally caught up with her.
Keyshia took to Twitter to tell fans that she had just been in court over something she did 10 years ago. She didn’t specify what it was, but said that she would be doing 30 days and then released. A fan also asked Keyshia why she hasn’t released any new singles off her album “Point of No Return”, to which she replied “Not a smart business move to blow up someone that’s leaving (Interscope).” I take that as Keyshia saying she’s out the door so there’s no need to further promote her album.
She did say, however, to expect a new album in first quarter 2015 and that she may release the videos for “NewNu” and “No Complications” on her own. Could Key-Key be signing with her boo Birdman? I guess we’ll find out soon….after she gets out of jail.
