Kentucky Fried Chicken has created its own console that is reportedly more powerful than the PlayStation 5 and has a built-in “chicken chamber” to keep your meal warm.
Twenty-twenty ain’t over, and you never know what we might see in these last few days. A game console that warms up food is one of those things. On Tuesday, KFC announced KFConsole, a game console that keeps your chicken warm while you play video games. KFC came up with the idea for the chicken-bucket-shaped KFConsole and partnered with computer hardware company Cooler Master to make it a real thing.
The chicken chain said that it is a high-end gaming PC with components made by Intel, Asus, and Seagate, Business Insider reports. Aside from warming up food, KFC says it can also run games with 4K resolution at 240 frames per second, which is more than what PlayStation 5 or Xbox One can handle. The restaurant said the console can also run virtual reality games.
Business Insider reports that the console has a cooling system that transfers heat produced by the components to the chicken chamber, which helps the hardware stay cool while also keeping your food warm. “The Bargain Bucket-shaped machine features the world’s first built-in chicken chamber, which is kitted out to keep its contents hot, ready for consumption during intense gaming sessions,” KFC said.
The price of KFConsole has yet to be announced. Y’all interested?
