KFC’s Mac & Cheese Bowls are back by popular demand for the first time in three years.
The formerly new menu item includes a cheesy macaroni bowl topped with crispy popcorn chicken coated with more cheese. The macaroni bowl will also come in a spicy option with chicken drenched with smoky Nashville hot sauce.
Customers can purchase the bowls for just $5, almost the same as when we first saw them in 2019.
Initially, the price included a medium drink and a cookie on the side, but now it only consists of the bowl. For an additional fee, customers who want to make it a meal can add a medium drink and a side of fries.
The chain’s chief marketing officer Nick Chavez said, “This meal is the epitome of hearty goodness and un-BOWL-eavable value at $5 for a limited time.”
Fans can expect the official launch of the KFC Mac and Cheese Bowls on July 18.
