Khloe Kardashian is opening up about motherhood and her growing family in a new interview.
Weeks after welcoming another baby with Tristian Thompson via surrogacy, Kardashian sat down with Elle to dish on being a mom of two.
“I know it’s cliché, but I love everything, even the hard parts. I [my kids] challenge me as a person, and being able to shape little people into really incredible big people is an honor and a gift,” she said.
“We have to take those roles seriously, especially in today’s day and age, with how much accessibility children have and the information they’re exposed to so young. It’s super scary, but I take my job very seriously. I love it so much.”
This was the first time the Good American co-founder had spoken out about her baby boy with Thompson. The former couple conceived the baby via surrogate in November 2021, just a month before the NBA star cheated on her and fathered a son with Maralee Nichols.
While Kardashian had been very tight-lipped about expanding her family, news broke in June that baby no. 2 was on the way.
“We can confirm True will have a sibling who was conceived in November,” a rep said in a statement. “Khloe is incredibly grateful to the extraordinary surrogate for such a beautiful blessing. We’d like to ask for kindness and privacy so that Khloe can focus on her family.”
Khloe and Tristan also share 4-year-old daughter, True Thompson.
