Looks like the Grammys are kicking off with some excitement!
Police led Grammy Award-winning rapper Killer Mike away in handcuffs from the Grammy Awards on Sunday night, despite him securing three Grammy wins earlier in the untelevised segment of the event. Journalist Chris Gardner first brought the news to light through videos on his X/Twitter account, capturing the rapper being led away and expressing his disbelief, “Are you serious? What the f*ck?”

Additionally, Gardner reported that according to an official, the arrest was linked to an unspecified misdemeanor unrelated to any incidents that occurred during the Grammys on Sunday.
Prior to his arrest, in the pre-show ceremony, Mike clinched victory in all three categories he was nominated for, securing wins in Best Rap Song and Best Rap Performance for his track “Scientists and Engineers,” as well as Best Rap Album for “Michael,” his sixth studio album released in June 2023.
