In the second episode of the final season of E!’s “Keeping Up With The Kardashians,” Kim Kardashian basically confirmed that she began to contemplate divorce after her estranged husband, Kanye West, called her a “white supremacist” on Twitter.
According to Buzzfeed News, the demise of the superstar couple’s relationship has been a long time coming. Fans of the reality show have noticed fights between the couple becoming more of the norm, from Kim’s refusal to get her husband a band-aid to an intense spat about Kim’s “revealing” Met Gala outfit. The loving couple seemed to be splitting apart right before our eyes.
In last night’s episode, Kim confirmed that the “final straw” that caused her to choose divorce was due to Kanye’s erratic behavior, his presidential run, and his public outburst in which he shared some of the couple’s most intimate details.
The show gives fans a behind the scenes look at the family’s reaction to Kanye’s antics, with scenes dating back to July 2020 when the rapper/producer announced his presidential run and even included reaction to Kanye branding Kim and her mother Kris Jenner as “white supremacists” on Twitter.
While Kim tried to put on a brave face in front of the cameras, it was obvious to her family that she was dealing with a lot.
During one scene, Kris Jenner tells her other daughters she has “no idea” how Kim is “dealing with the stress of it all,” and Kourtney agrees, stating she “can’t possibly navigate this on her own.”
