Kim Kardashian is involved in some family drama between O.J. Simpson and Nicole Brown after making jokes during her Saturday Night Live monologue.
Brown’s sister, Tanya Brown, told TMZ that Kim’s jokes were “in poor taste” and that Nicole’s death should not be viewed as a joke.
Kim’s SNL monologue included a few O.J. jokes, where she began with a line about her father, one of O.J.’s defense attorneys, introducing her to her first Black person. She then asked the audience to take a “stab in the dark” to figure out who it was while alluding to Nicole and Ron Goldman’s deaths.
The jokes were “beyond inappropriate and offensive,” Tanya said, and she questioned if the Kardashians’ genuinely cared for Nicole.
For those who don’t know, Kris Jenner was a close friend of Nicole’s, but Tanya believes Kim should have resisted or refused to do the jokes, presuming ‘SNL’ writers wrote them.
Tanya claims to have walked out of a scheduled appearance on “The Meredith Vieira Show” after being told at the last minute that jurors from the murder trial would also be on the show.
She just assumed that Kim would’ve reacted the same way to the ‘SNL’ lines.
Tanya says that seeing and hearing the audience explode in laughter at the O.J. material was disturbing as if the jokes weren’t already disturbing enough.
