Kim Kardashian speaks on her family’s success and jokes that they “scammed the system.”
During the season 4 finale of The Kardashians, Kim expressed her surprise at the transformation her family had undergone into public figures while reminiscing about their humble beginnings. The discussion arose during the celebration of Scott Disick‘s 40th birthday, when Kris Jenner delivered a toast, reminiscing about her long-standing friendship with him.
Subsequently, during her toast to Scott, Kim highlighted their 19-year-long friendship. She acknowledged Scott’s unwavering support, emphasizing that he had been there for her “through thick and thin” and had stood by her side “through every phase.”
As Scott highlighted Kim’s remarkable journey and her current status as a lawyer and Vogue cover model, Kim leaned in to the group and whispered, “Guys, we scammed the system. We did it! Whatever it is, we figured it out and did it! We put in some hard work.”
Additionally, Kim gave Scott his flowers once again during a confessional.
“Scott’s my motivator,” she added. “He’ll always say, ‘God, can you believe you did it?’ And I’m like, ‘I can’t, this is crazy.’ … We aren’t supposed to be here, like how did we get in this cool party? We weren’t the cool kids, how did we do it?”
The Kardashian clan catapulted to fame with the premiere of Keeping Up with the Kardashians in October 2007. This iconic show concluded its nearly 14-year run and 20 seasons on June 10, 2021. Prior to The Kardashians on Hulu, the family ventured into several spinoff series stemming from “Keeping Up,” including Kourtney & Khloé Take Miami/Kourtney & Kim Take Miami, Kourtney & Kim Take New York, Khloé & Lamar,” Kourtney & Khloé Take the Hamptons, I Am Cait, Dash Dolls, Rob & Chyna, and Life of Kylie.
