Kim Kardashian is clearing the air after a fake quote about her daughter, North West, went viral online.

A now-deleted post shared on the blog Cool Rap TV, which has over two million Instagram followers, falsely claimed that North, 12, said she would “choose her dad, Ye, over her mom, Kim K, a thousand times.”

The influencer quickly responded under the post, saying, “This interview never happened, and the quotes are fake. North loves us both, and it’s harmful and weird to pit a child against either parent for clicks.”

While the viral claim was false, Kardashian had spoken openly about how North admired her father’s simple lifestyle in 2023.

“North, she’ll go to her Dad’s [and] she’ll be like, ‘Dad is the best! He has it all figured out. He doesn’t have a nanny, he doesn’t have a chef, he doesn’t have security, he lives in an apartment.’ And she’ll start crying, ‘Why don’t you have an apartment? I can’t believe we don’t have an apartment,'” the SKIMS founder shared in an episode of Hulu’s “The Kardashians.”

During a recent interview on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast, the 45-year-old also opened up about how difficult it can be co-parenting with Ye since their 2022 divorce.

“I don’t care what you say about me,” she said. “I don’t care what you say about the world and your beliefs, any of that. Anything about my children, I don’t care what it is, that’s hard for me to sit back and be like, ‘Come on,’ you know?”

She also admitted that it’s painful when Ye publicly speaks about her family.

“It is hard to sit back when he says things about my mom,” Kardashian shared. “That’s what’s really hard for me because she loves him, and to this day still does and is super emotional about it and sad about it. It was a big part of our lives.”

Despite their challenges, Kardashian says she still chooses to speak positively about Ye in front of their children.
