Kim Kardashian-West is opening up about caring for her husband, Kanye West, as he struggled with coronavirus earlier this year.
“Kanye had its way at the beginning when nobody really knew what was going on. It was so scary and unknown. I had my four babies and no-one else in the house to help,” Kardashian-West revealed in her GRAZIA cover story.
The 39-year-old reality star revealed that he had tested positive sometime around mid-March.
“I had to go and change his sheets and help him get out of bed when he wasn’t feeling good. It was a challenge because it was so unknown,” she said. “Changing his sheets with gloves and a face shield was really a scary time.”
West spoke about his COVID-19 diagnosis in July, telling Forbes, he experienced “Chills, shaking in the bed,” adding that he was also “taking hot showers, looking at videos telling me what I’m supposed to do to get over it.”
In fact, knowing firsthand how COVID-19 can affect the body, ‘Ye sent his well wishes to Trump and Melania following their coronavirus diagnosis.
“There’s a crying need for civility across the board. We need to and will come together in the name of Jesus. I’m praying for President Trump’s and Melania’s full recovery, just as I would for Joe and Jill Biden if they were stricken, as well as everyone else with COVID-19,” West said.
